If you live in Florida, you have to fish or else what's the point?  Fishing is great all year round and really fantastic in December - May.  In the winter we catch sailfish, kingfish, grouper, snapper, and cobia.  Just when things slow down in the Spring, the dolphin come through and jump all over your baits.

Playin Hooky is our faithful 25 ft. Contender.  It has carried us all over the east coast from Jupiter to Key West and as far west as the Dry Tortugas.  Nothing beats a good day of fishing.

3-21-06- Tucker, Captain, and Gigi took the jon boat that we built last March 2005 to the Everglades and we caught this 1 pound bass.
That's a 36lb. kingfish caught 10 miles off Key West.  We caught so many kingfish that day that we released 6 and kept just 2. Kingfish.jpg (39085 bytes)
A friend of mine is a Key West guide, so he called me up one day and said "The cobia are in".  So, of course we called in sick and hauled down there.  We caught 6 cobia that day, we kept 2, I gave 2 to the guide, and we released 2.  The guide sold his for $300 each! Cobia.jpg (38064 bytes)
Bobbi caught both those dolphin on a 10lb spinner!  The big one fought her for 45 minutes.  Caught 15 miles off Boca. Dolphin.jpg (36404 bytes)
Way to go Bobbi, nice grouper!  Caught in 115ft. off Boca. Grouper.jpg (36082 bytes)
A nice mutton snapper that I caught one night fishing off the Dry Tortugas. Mutton.jpg (22525 bytes)
We got into a 2 acre school of permit one day off Key West.  That's a 15 pounder that Bobbi caught on 10 pound test.  There is no harder fighting fish in the sea!  Of course we released him none the worse for wear. Permit.jpg (37953 bytes)
Just about the time when fishing slows down in the heat of the summer, it's lobster season!  We have been diving for lobster for 34 years now. Lobster.jpg (38067 bytes)
